What data we process
When you contact us or request a quotation
Through the contact form, the quotation form or any of the configurators you provide your name, company, email address, phone number and whatever message you write. From the configurators, the configuration you have built is also included — dimensions, loads, finishes and similar technical details. That is information about the project, not about you.
When you visit the website
We measure visits using Cloudflare Web Analytics. That service is designed not to identify individual visitors: it sets no cookies, builds no profile and does not follow you to other websites. We see aggregated statistics — number of visits, which pages were read, approximate country and loading times.
The website is hosted by Netlify which, as with all web hosting, logs requests technically, including IP address. These logs are used for operations and security.
Cookies
We use no cookies for marketing, tracking or statistics. That is why you see no cookie banner. If you choose a language on the site, that choice is stored locally in your own browser (local storage) so you do not have to choose again — it is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Why we process the data, and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To fulfil an order — design, manufacture, delivery and invoicing. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To understand how the website is used and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To meet accounting obligations once business has been transacted. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
How long we keep the data
- Enquiries are kept for three years by our form provider and are then deleted automatically. The corresponding email exists in our email environment.
- Customer relationships — data linked to completed business is kept for as long as the business relationship lasts.
- Accounting records are kept for seven years under Swedish accounting law.
- Visitor statistics are aggregated and cannot be linked to you.
Who may receive the data
We never sell personal data. To run the business we use providers who process data on our behalf:
- Web3Forms — receives and forwards form submissions.
- Microsoft 365 — our email.
- Netlify — hosting for the website.
- Cloudflare — visitor statistics.
Data may also be shared with subcontractors where needed to carry out an assignment, for example during on-site installation, and with authorities where the law requires it.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Some of the providers listed above are established outside the EU/EEA, which means data may be processed in a third country. Such processing takes place under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. You are welcome to contact us if you would like to know more.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- know what data we hold about you, and receive a copy of it
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have data erased, where we no longer have grounds to keep it
- request that processing be restricted
- object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest
- receive data you have provided in a machine-readable format (data portability)
Contact info@lagerkomponenter.se and we will help you. We normally respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied
You may lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), the supervisory authority for personal data processing in Sweden — imy.se. We would appreciate it if you contacted us first, so that we get the chance to put things right.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we process personal data, we will update this page.
